Step 1: Choose Your Uniform (With or Without Embroidery)
When ordering from Salon Threads, you can select your uniform piece with embroidery or without embroidery.
If you select embroidery, you’ll be prompted to complete a logo setup step during your purchase.

Step 2: New to Salon Threads? Logo Setup Fee (One-Off)
If you are a new embroidery client and we don’t already have your logo set up in our system, there is a one-off $75 logo setup fee.
This setup fee covers the work required to prepare your logo for embroidery, including creating the correct embroidery file format so your logo stitches cleanly and professionally on your uniform.
✅ Good news: you only pay this once. Once your logo is set up, it can be reused for future uniform orders.

Step 3: Tick the Box (Once) + Email Your Logo Files
To make it easy, all you need to do is:
1. Tick the logo setup box once on your product page (this adds the setup fee to your cart), and
2. Once your order is complete, email your logo files to:

What logo file should you send?
If you have them, we recommend sending:
• AI
• EPS
• SVG
• High-quality PNG (with a transparent background)

Step 4: We Begin the Logo Setup Process
Once we receive your logo files, we begin the logo setup process.
This stage can take up to 10 working business days.
Why does it take time?
Because embroidery isn’t printing — your logo needs to be translated into stitching instructions so it looks crisp, balanced, and luxe on fabric (especially with small lettering or fine detail).

Step 5: We Send Proof / Request Your Approval
Once your logo is set up and ready, we’ll reach out to confirm the embroidery details.
Before we stitch anything, we’ll get your go-ahead (consent) to proceed.
This ensures you feel confident before we begin embroidering your uniforms.

Step 6: Embroidery Begins (5 Additional Business Days)
After you approve the setup, your uniform enters the embroidery stage.
This part takes an additional:

Choosing Your Thread Colour (Pantone Welcome!)
This is where the magic happens — because the right thread colour can make your uniform look intentional, cohesive, and high-end.
You can choose your thread colour based on your brand colour palette, and if you have Pantone shades for your logo, even better.
If you know your Pantone colour:
Simply include it in your email (or tell us in the notes), and we’ll match as closely as possible with embroidery thread.
If you don’t know your Pantone colour:
No problem at all — we offer full support.
We can help you choose the best thread colour based on:
• your logo colour
• your uniform colour
• the look you want (bold / subtle / tonal / contrast)
• your salon’s brand vibe (clean, luxe, minimal, modern)
